Black Family - Roy Ayers - Lots Of Love (Vinyl, LP, Album)

Excellent, exact re-issue of Roy's superb album. tracks- Black Family, Fast Money, Lots Of Love, Everybody, D.C. City, Drive, And Then We Were One, Chicago Product details Manufacturer ‏: ‎ .

 · Originally issued on the vibist's own Uno Melodic label in , Lots of Love captures Roy Ayers between major-label tenures with Polydor and Columbia, and he capitalizes on his independence by further investigating the Afrobeat rhythms and textures he first explored in his collaboration with Fela Kuti while simultaneously moving into post-disco dance music/10(6).

 · Fela Kuti, Roy Ayers somehow found himself without a record deal. Having left Polydor behind and not yet started at Columbia, Lots Of Love became the only Ayers album to be released on his own Uno Melodic label. Unusually, for a musician in his 40s, Lots Of Love’s best moves came where Ayers tried out contemporary pop styles and incorporated.

Buy vinyl/CD or stream the album: Music continues its long and fertile partnership with vibraphone legend and godfather.
