Street Fighting Man - The Rolling Stones - L.A. Forum (Live In 1975) (DVD)

DVD is from Friday, J show. Vinyl is edited from Sunday, J show; previously released digitally in full in as L.A. Friday, using the name from the original bootleg (even though the day of the week is wrong).

'L.A. Forum Live In ' is the second title in this series. The Rolling Stones Tour Of The Americas '75 was the band's first tour with new guitarist Ronnie Wood. Even before the dates started there were dramatic scenes in New York City at the official tour announcement when the band unexpectedly turned up on a flatbed truck to play 'Brown Sugar'.

LA Forum, Los Angeles, California, J. CD 3: Intro: Excerpt from Fanfare For The Common Man /Honky Tonk Women /All Down The Line /If You Can't Rock Me - Get Off Of My Cloud /Star Star /Gimme Shelter /Ain't Too Proud To Beg /You Gotta Move

That record was fairly heavily overdubbed but L.A. Forum (Live in ) is cheerfully raw, finding the Stones pounding away at a song set (two of these are showcases for Billy Preston, who was guesting with the group on this tour). The official release may have cleaned up the date -- original bootlegs claimed it was the Friday show of a stint at the Forum, when it was actually performed that .

  1. Live recording from J at The Forum Los Angeles/CA, U.S.A. This is the second release "From The Vault" series with a full length 2½ hour concert of the Rolling Stones performing at their very best. Comes in a deluxe digipack with 1xDVD and 2xCD's.

  2. The Rolling Stones' "Tour Of The Americas '75" was the band's first tour with new guitarist Ronnie Wood. Even before the dates started there were dramatic scenes in New York City at the official tour announcement when the band unexpectedly turned up on a flatbed truck to play 'Brown Sugar'. After a couple of low key warm-up shows in Louisiana.
